I was threatened for visiting temple and dargah: Amitabh Bachchan
Mumbai, October 31: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he was threatened by an unnamed person through a text message for visiting a Hindu temple and a Muslim dargah.
The 67-year-old actor had described his religious routines in an earlier blog, which led the unknown person to threaten him against doing so, but the megastar is undeterred.
"That I visit a Muslim dargah and a Hindu temple has been viciously criticized by an unknown element on my mobile. He says it is incorrect of me to do so and that I should never do it again." Bachchan wrote on his blog.
The actor had visited the Haji Ali dargah in the wee hours on Thursday and then went to a nearby temple. He also visited a small dargah on and finally went to the Siddhivinayak temple.

Holier than thou

Mr Amitabh you are talking like a moron. While Hindus are Pantheon religon and don't mind how God is prayed, Muslims have very strict code. Once you accept Allah as your Only god then worshiping any other Deity is against Allah. I am a Hindu and since i don't accept that Allah is the only supreme Almighty and he can not be seen in any other form. So while i don't accept that as the only truth, if I go to a Mosque in the name of secularism, i definitely choose to ignoring their strict code and hurting their feelings. So may be the person who has sent you such message is a follower of such strict code from either of the religion. we should strive to respect others religious code when we go to their places of worship. So leave such "i am always holier than thou" attitude and try to think from your opponents point of view as well.

Bajrangee pee drinker and stone worshipper do not mind killing innocent people. they are same you see them from RAJDHANI EXPRESS train from bombay to delhi, they are sitting besides railway track in the morning naked and showing off their poo and they looking at you as if they have done miracle! they clean their ass with small lota where you can not even clean your hand properly, smelly bajrangee get wise up.

I wonder why people go visiting the dead body of the muslims, the dargahs. I thought it was forbidden for muslims to pray to anybody but Allah. It is even forbidden to pray to Muhammad-prophet. Then why do these infidel muslims and even more infidel Hindus like Amitabh pray to the dead body? Remember that it is said that those who pray to the bhootas, will go to the lokas of the bhootas. Maybe Amitabh likes the bhootas-lokas.

Having accepted Allah as the only god if the Muslims resort to actions as you have pointed out you might call them infidels. But calling infidel Hindus my brother is creating communal hatred and inciting violence. So please keep your language intact. As you religion is great to you so slso other religions to its followers.

No one will threaten you because it is a place of peace and no christian will threaten you. Remember you act in Muqadar Ka Sikhandar and passed by St. Igantius Church, Jacob Circle. Again another holier than thou person. Some one either from a muslim or hindu or even for that matter a christian might have written such note. So mr perfect, there is only one freak out of millions of followers have done that. And you can not claim that in Christianity THERE ARE no freaks at all. As a Hindu I can speak only for my self and not for for remaining one billion Hindus. So also you can speak for only yourself and not for remaining 3 billion Christians around the globe.
