India fast catching up with America: Obama warns
Washington, Jan 28: Noting that countries like India, China and Germany were emphasising more in maths and science and fast catching up with America, US President Barack Obama today told lawmakers that he would not accept a "second place" for his country.
"Washington has been telling us to wait for decades, even as the problems have grown worse. Meanwhile, China's not waiting to revamp its economy. Germany's not waiting. India's not waiting," Obama said in his State of the Union address.
"These nations aren't standing still. These nations aren't playing for second place. They're putting more emphasis on maths and science. They're rebuilding their infrastructure.
They are making serious investments in clean energy because they want those jobs," Obama said.
"Well I do not accept second-place for the United States of America. As hard as it may be, as uncomfortable and contentious as the debates may be, it's time to get serious about fixing the problems that are hampering our growth," said the US President in his joint address to the Congress.

America is run today like in old Germany as paranoid schizophrenic-restricted obstructive- paralytic impositions as Unpatriotic acts-NSA-Racist-Christianity only etc dictats. The country was relatively free and impediments cause debasements degradation and dismemberment. Obama cannot comprehend. May be a good orator but action is zero.

Zopag like other sections of the India media are bent on either self-praise, or if a westerner mentions India incidentally, interpreting things out of context ! This is a very Hindu trait. Why do Hindus behave in such a way ? It comes from the Hindu inferiority complex. The Hindus have a feeling that they are someone but they have not found their place under the sun, because of the Muslims and the British, but they are about to make a mark ! If you look at the actual reality of India, you will realise that we are falling short and the cause is Hinduism. A certain section of India is studying maths, and as the population is large, the number is large in absolute value; but you have to consider the percentage. If only aboslute numbers are taken, the statistics also shows India has the largest number of illiterates. If Obama had mentioned this, will our Hindus be trumpeting it ? One should ask why we have the largest number of illiterates. The cause is the Brahmins and their diabolical caste system prevented the majority from getting educated. As caste discrimination is the only tenet of Hinduism, it is impossible for India to catch up. The Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen has noted that countries that became independent after India like Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam are close to attaining full literacy. He has noted that India is handicapped by the Brahmanical caste system.

For gods sake dont take obama seriously. Indians are only good at clerical jobs. The indian pattern of education discourages out of t he box thiking and concentrates on memory. How many Indian patents have made it to world stage. We are no where in cutting edge techonology. The united states is still streets ahead. Maybe this left handed praise is to ensure that india and china totter along in its old fashioned education systems. Producing labour for the advanced nations, after all what is our IT but labour ???
