Lashkar-China links alarm India
New Delhi, Jan 29: Intelligence inputs that Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has acquired as high as 50 para-gliding equipments for potential use to launch suicide attacks prompting a security alert in India ahead of the Republic Day appears to be a blooper.
The Union Home Ministry has begun a discreet probe into the basis for the inputs with official sources today saying it has now emerged that only three para gliding equipments were procured from China. According to intelligence inputs ahead of the R-Day, LeT is believed to have procured 50 such equipments from Europe sending security personnel into a tizzy.
Official sources said the inquiry will focus on how the quantum of acquisition was apparently inflated irrespective of their source.
Senior officials in the Home ministry claimed that they had been briefed by the officials of the security agencies, who washed their hands off about the possibility of the para gliders being used to carry out terror strikes, sources said.
While giving information about LeT procuring the para-gliding equipment, the intelligence inputs had suggested that this might be used by the terror group for training exercises for its cadres to launch terror strikes.

Dear anroshan, If this is the kind of logic which is guiding you, I can only pray to god to save your genre from catastrophic disasters. Just have some sense of mind and analyze and see who really are the loosers because of these jehadis. In Kashmir, who is loosing livelihood, education, careers, futures and most importantly peace of mind ? See the number muslims being killed (locals and policemen) in jehadi related incidents. See the number of people being killed in Pakistan, Afganistan and Iraq on a daily basis by these anti socials in the garb of jehadis ? Only perverts can have logics like this.

Krishna I shall ask you a series of questions and see if you can answer. Who raised Hindu mobs and attacked Muslims in the 1990s ? It was Advani and the BJP; Hindus are culpable because they followed such demagogues. True or not ? Who shipped kar sevaks from Gujarat to Ayodhya, with slogans against Muslims ? It was Modi. Gujarati Hindus followed him and committed a pogrom. True or not ? Who attacked Christians in Orissa ? It was the VHP. True or not ? Hindus involved in pogroms have not been held accountable. True or not ? Due to what the Hindus did in Ayodhya, the jihadis started to come to India to kill Hindus in Bombay and Gujarat. True or not ? Now Hindus have deserted the BJP. Is it because the Hindus became law abiding and decided communalism harmed India ? No ! It is because the Hindus realised that following the BJP will mean more Hindus will be killed. True or not ? Then the correct conclusion is that the jihadis have been beneficial in curbing Hindu extremism. If the jihadis had not killed Hindus in Bombay and Gujarat, then you would have demolished more mosques and conducted more pogroms. You would still like to do these, but now the government will not allow it because they know the consequences. China is the best antidote to Hindu imperialism. I don't know whether to believe these stories. These days the Hindus are bent on maligning Pakistan and China. If it is true, let us look at the silver lining. It is the joint Pak-China pressure that is keeping the Hindus under check. Otherwise, they will revert back to what they did in the 1990s, and Hindu mobs will attack minorities to show Hindu prowess. The Hindus developed facist urges in the 1990s, with the rise of the BJP. It is only after the Pakistani jihadis started to kill Hindus outside Kashmir that Hindu mischief has been curbed. Likewise, in the last two years the Chinese have decided to cut down Hindu posturing. So the Hindus spend their time calculating the next jihadi attack, or finding a way to placate China.
