Mumbai, Feb 5: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who has issued a diktat to his partymen to greet Rahul Gandhi with black flags for his "Mumbai for all Indians" remark, today attacked Marathi ministers at the Centre for "not protesting Rahul's anti-Mumbai statement."
"Sharad Pawar, Vilasrao Deshmukh, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Prithviraj Chavan, Murli Deora and Praful Patel cannot show the self-respect shown by late C D Deshmukh. Not a single Marathi minister at the Centre opposed the humiliation of Marathi people," he said in an editorial in party mouthpiece 'Saamana'.
On the contrary, "Congressmen are ready to even take up a broom and clean the road where Rahul would be travelling (during his Mumbai visit)," Thackeray said.

Bal Thackeray and Raj Thackeray should be banned from politics. They should be arrested under TADA or an equivalent act so that they will never come out of jail. They are the ones who screw up the country. What is there in the name. Mumbai or Bombay both are same. Call it Bombay. Nothing wrong. Always have in mind that Mumbai or Bombay is in India and Maharashtra is also in India. So we are Indians first. Patriotism should be there as an Indian and not as an Maharashtrian. First and foremost our country and until our last breathe we should feel that we are Indians. I have travelled around the world and worked in many countries. Still I feel I am an Indian and I am always proud of India and we are all safe in India than in any other country.

Rahul Gandhi has no brilliant ideas. He never went to Arunachal Pradesh to show the Chinese that it belongs to India, but instead came to Mumbai to show to the Thackerays that Mumbai (Bombay he still calls it) belongs to all Indians. Something all Indians already know. He doesn't understand that every place and state has the right on it's specific culture and that's what the Shiv Sena is fighting for. Tomorrow Rahul will impose chapati to the Tamils and rice to the Punjabis: undermining the traditional culture of the people. He has travelled so much and learnt almost nothing. This is really sad. And that they touch your feet for that........
