New Delhi, November 3: In a huge embarrassment for the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, the Services Ranji team has refused to play in the state citing security reasons.
J-K Cricket Association president, National Conference (NC) patriarch and Union Cabinet minister Farooq Abdullah reacted strongly to the Services Ranji team’s refusal to play in the state.
Threatening to take the issue of ‘no-show’ to PM Manmohan Singh, Farooq Abdullah said, "How can they do something like this. Everybody is here and at the last moment they are doing this. If they don’t want to come, to hell with them".
"Everybody said that the situation has changed. The PM, media and civil society groups all are fine with the situation in J-K," he said.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also faced Farooq Abdullah’s ire.
"I won’t take it lying down. I will tear the BCCI apart," Farooq Abdullah added.

Somebody please help the mad man...please...please!!! Mr.FA, don't try to throw your political weight around. Stop behaving like a bloody under world Gunda. Someone please tell him that Sharad Pawar is there... SP will tear FA like a dhoti. There is no court of law that stops a person from thinking about his/her own safety. Like Zail Singh was sent to Golden Temple, Mr. FA should also be sent between his terrorist friends. Before screaming his throat out, he should have thought of this when it was all being encouraged politically. I believe he has forgotten Kandhar. Shame that we have such characters to participate in running the country. Shame-Shame.
