'Those against Vande Mataram should go to Pakistan'
Mumbai, Nov 5: Two days after Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind adopted a resolution asking Muslims not to recite 'Vande Mataram', Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray slammed it, saying those opposed to the national song should go to Pakistan.
"If you don't want to salute your motherland, then who do you salute? What is the shame in saluting Bharatmata? Those who do not want to salute Bharatmata should go to Pakistan or Bangladesh. There is no place for such traitors in India," Thackeray said.
Thackeray said the fact that the decree was adopted in the presence of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram showed that the Centre was engaging in appeasement of the minorities.
"If anti-national fatwas are issued in the presence of the Union home minister then there is no future for this country. It looks like the Centre has a policy of appeasement of Muslims for votes," he said in a statement.
Stating that such decrees created tensions between Hindus and Muslims, he asked Shiv Sainiks to put up "Vande Mataram" boards all over Maharashtra.

Pakistan and SS

I donot like SS. But on SRK and this issue,we need to understand them. Would SRK,pay Paki players if he had lost someone in 2611? Nobody on Earth Pay and Plays with the Enemies.Pakistan has time and again gsince 1993 and before,fighting with India. We are stupid and have forgotten 1993 blast and many other incidents.Before you argue against Vande Mataram, pl understand the meaning of Jana Gana Mana,we are still praising the King of England. Nehru selected the song only because it was easier for the band to play.As usual take the easier way out, no guts to pick a gun and fight the britishers,so waste decades and made the country poorer.Its common in these countries to allow the wife to be used for such purpose and we thought that our PM has a Gori friend

Majority including Muslims have already accepted long back Vande Vataram as national Prayer. Why change NOW?.The current Indian Government is weak, corrupt and coward and bend bacward for Muslims because of so called appeasing democratic vote. The same situation cannot in any Muslim Country and they breed terrorists and try to dominate the world by false decrees and notbeing flexible toward other religions at all. How much religious freedom muslim country has? I strongly feel Proud Hindus should not yeild at all to the Muslim subjugation

Patriotism is in the song?

The patriotism never comes up by singing a song. It has to come automatically when the people have united as Indian. Few days back the same Thackery has asked his M.P. to take oath in Maharastra instead of Hindi. Actually Hindi is a national language. The person who has no regard of national langauage then how can he talk about singing a song brings patriotism. First he has to accept the language then he asks others to sing a song. Make his house in order before forcing other to do it.
